About

A daily, Claude-assembled record of what shipped in AI — drafted into an Obsidian vault, then published here.

Who's behind this

Hi — I'm Mladen Stepanic, an application architect and web developer based in Serbia, with a focus on front-end and UX. I've been automating things since day one of my career — call it laziness, call it taste; the practical effect is the same — and the recent wave of AI tools has felt like a gift: I get to focus on the actual problem and hand the boring parts to the machine.

That trade buys time for passion projects like this one. AI Digest started as a filter — a way to stick to verified sources and tune out the daily noise and hype that the field generates.

When I'm not thinking about tech, I read books and try to make music.

About this site

Each day a Claude-driven workflow surveys what shipped — model releases, papers worth reading, leaks, new tools — drafts the summary into an Obsidian vault, and publishes it here. I set the editorial direction and ship the pipeline; Claude does the assembly.

The vault is plain markdown in a Git repo, so each digest stays openable in Obsidian and on the web from the same source. The static site is built with Astro on Vercel, and search is hybrid (vector + lexical) on a Neon Postgres index, embedded with Jina.
